Chase the Joker is a weekly raffle at the Newport Rugby Club whereby participants buy a raffle ticket for £5 with the winner guaranteed £50 with the additional chance of winning the standing prize pool by choosing the Joker from a deck of 52 downfacing cards. Failure in selecting the Joker will result in the prize pool being rolled over, accumulating to a maximum of £20,000, in accordance with local authority gaming laws.
