Newport Salop RUFC Sirens – Women’s Rugby at its Finest

 

The Sirens are Newport Salop RUFC’s senior women’s team, proudly promoting the growth and strength of women’s rugby in Shropshire and the West Midlands. Whether you’re new to the sport or have years of experience, every player in the Sirens contributes to a team that values camaraderie, friendship, fun, passion, and competitive spirit.

 

With regular training sessions every Friday from 7:00–8:30 pm, league and cup fixtures, and active community engagement, the Sirens are more than just a team – we’re a family.

 

Our coaching, led by Jess Kershaw (former Premier 15s player at Worcester Valkyries and Gloucester), along with our dedicated support staff, is committed to developing players at every level and ensuring the game remains inclusive, enjoyable, and empowering.
